From dialectical practice to a question about the physical world.

For more than 15 years, Tracy trained and practiced in dialectical behavior therapy, where apparent opposites are held together and examined in relationship.

That experience seeded an intellectual question beyond the clinic. If dialectical reasoning helps reveal the relationships within complex human systems, could its emphasis on interdependence sharpen how we think about other complex systems?

Tracy spent roughly a decade reading across philosophy of science, the history of quantum theory, measurement, entanglement, time, and relativity. The aim was to develop the conceptual foundation rigorously enough to enter a scholarly conversation and invite further formulation and testing.

Conceptual inquiry met computational physics.

The published paper is co-authored with Dr. Emmanuel Igumbor, a computational physicist and materials scientist at the University of Johannesburg. His research background includes computational materials science, fluid dynamics, high-performance computing, and a substantial record of peer-reviewed work.

The collaboration joined the interdisciplinary thesis with technical review, literature, and the conventions of scientific publication. The resulting framework belongs to both authors and is presented as an invitation to continued analysis.
